Partners and Stakeholders discuss way  forward for final year

On 4th February, JA-CHRODIS held its 2nd General Assembly which all Associated and Collaborating Partners of the Joint Action were invited.

Partners heard how two mechanisms were needed in order to collect information on one hand, and implement the practices in every day work on the other.

Coordinator Carlos Segovia from ISCIII also introduced the partners to the concept of communities of practice. People come together both face-to-face and virtually, within a structure that facilitates sharing of information and new ideas.

Later, the General Assembly was joined by external stakeholders and in total more than 100 participants discussed JA-CHRODIS and outputs like the Platform for Knowledge Exchange (PKE).

Afternoon sessions saw group discussions around various topics concerning the promotion, use and sustainability of the PKE. Finally, participants discussed the transferability and scaling up of practices in the areas of health promotion, multimorbidity and Type 2 Diabetes.
